Legacy Funds-Roundtable Discussions

The Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) is evaluating the structures and procedures that have been established to ensure accountability for Legacy funds, and we would like input from interested persons and groups.

We will be holding four roundtable discussions—one for each of the four Legacy funds—in late June, and we welcome your attendance at any or all of the sessions. The roundtable discussions will focus on aspects of accountability for each Legacy fund. Topics will include:

  • The appropriation and grant awarding processes
  • Conflicts of interest
  • The Constitution’s “supplement, not substitute” provision
  • Ongoing obligations created by Legacy grants
  • Oversight and monitoring

Dates for the roundtables are listed below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Judy Randall, evaluation manager, at 651-296-1227 or judy.randall@state.mn.us.

All roundtable discussions will be held in the Ladyslipper Conference Room, Ground Floor, Centennial Office Building, 658 Cedar Street, St. Paul.
