Occupational Regulation

This report examines Minnesota's system of occupational regulation with particular attention paid to the state's criteria for enacting new regulation, the effectiveness of regulation, and the adequacy of state oversight of occupational regulation. The report also makes some suggestions for legislative review of the nearly 200 occupations that are currently licensed, certified, or otherwise regulated by the state.
