We surveyed Minnesota school district superintendents and charter school
directors to better understand their perceptions about the No Child Left
Behind Act and identify selected district practices regarding student
assessment.
We mailed letters and survey forms on November 4, 2003. We asked survey recipients to respond by returning their paper survey forms or by completing a web-based survey form. We received responses from 326 of the 342 school district superintendents and 79 of the 92 charter school directors.
