Personal Care Assistance
January 23, 2009Our evaluation found that personal care assistance services have been subject to minimal state regulation and oversight, even though expenditures have been growing significantly and the program is vulnerable to fraud and abuse. We make several recommendations to improve the program’s administration and accountability.
