Representative Duane Quam, Chair, called the Legislative Audit Commission (LAC) Executive Subcommittee to order at 1:03 p.m. in room 123 State Capitol. The meeting’s purpose was to review and approve the performance evaluation workplan for the Legislative Auditor. A roll call was taken and a quorum was established.
Representative Quam welcomed Michelle Yurich, Executive Director of the Legislative Coordinating Commission, to the table. Ms. Yurich explained that over the last five years, she has assisted the LAC in the annual performance review of the Legislative Auditor, Judy Randall. Ms. Yurich then presented the proposed workplan, and outlined the components and timeline of the performance evaluation to the subcommittee members for their approval. Representative Hansen moved to adopt the workplan. Seeing no objections, Representative Quam asked for a roll call vote, and the motion passed unanimously.
Representative Quam asked for further discussion. Senator Koran asked which members would be doing interviews of staff of the Office of the Legislative Auditor and other stakeholders. Representative Quam said that he would be looking for volunteers but that it was not necessary to make the assignments at this meeting.
Seeing no further questions, Representative Quam adjourned the meeting at 1:10 p.m.
