OLA has summer student worker positions, most spanning 8 to 12 weeks from June to August with start and end dates being flexible.
Student workers are treated as a valuable part of their team from day one. They work with experienced team members to complete research tasks that inform the overall evaluation or special review and contribute to recommendations that aim to improve state government.

Student workers typically work 40 hours per week, but there may be options for part-time positions. Student workers can set the schedule that works best for them between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
OLA’s office is in St. Paul near the Capitol. Student workers will be required to go to the office on occasion, but for the most part can choose to work remotely, in the office, or a combination of both. OLA provides student workers with a laptop and cell phone to conduct their work.
