This report describes and analyzes how school districts, cities, and counties conduct preventive maintenance of their buildings. It also identifies seven major "best practices" that jurisdictions can adopt to improve their preventive maintenance, and includes numerous specific examples that show how local governments are successfully implementing the best practices.*Supplemental Item (PDF)
